While our company engages in a variety of charitable and social activities, our most noteworthy project is “Slavyanka,” a Russian culture center in the heart of Sapporo, Japan. Specifically created for preschool and school aged children as well as those interested in Russian culture, Slavyanka was established in 2006 as a nonprofit organization with qualified teachers from Russia.

For Russian children who are living away from home, Slavyanka serves as an opportunity to learn, remember, and respect their national traditions, language, and culture. For the Japanese, it’s an avenue for exploration of the rich culture of a neighboring country.

The mission of “Slavyanka” is to foster the spiritual and historical heritage of Russia in the hearts of Russian people living in Japan while promoting friendly relations and cultural exchange between the two countries.
